The School of Visual Arts Division of Continuing Education (SVACE) Presents Art & Activism: Nourishing Conscious Communities

The School of Visual Arts Division of Continuing Education (SVACE) is pleased to announce its fourth annual Art & Activism event: a virtual symposium dedicated to exploring the relationship between environmental and social injustices, and how our talents and voices can organize to nourish conscious communities.

Art & Activism: Nourishing Conscious Communities will take place from 12 to 7pm (EDT) on September 25, during Climate Week NYC 2020.

Art & Activism: Nourishing Conscious Communities

This free virtual symposium will consist of presentations and interactive workshops by artists, activists, and community organizers. The day’s events will conclude with a panel discussion between presenters, moderated by media personality Valerie Smaldone. Panel participants will discuss how their visions address climate justice, provide opportunities to galvanize communities, and forge a dedicated path into the future.
